Quorum was met.
Meeting was called to order by Dave Yeager, at time 7:15 p.m.
Board members in attendance were as follows: Dave Yeager, Alfred Rodriguez, and Mel Ash. Steve McPherson was absent.
Lisa Donohue from EPM was present.
Motion made by Mel and seconded by Alfred to approve the appointment of Lynn Anoai to the Board. All agreed and motion passed.
The August 2013 minutes were approved with a motion from Alfred and seconded by Mel. All agreed. Motion passed.
Treasurers Report by Lisa Donohue
- As of September 30, 2013
- CNL Operating Account: $73,668.05
- Regions Money Market: $60,654.91
- CNL Reserve Account: $111,427.23
- Accounts Receivable: $87,393.77
Committee Reports were given as follows:
ARB Report:
- ARB requests were reviewed and signed by ARB committee.
Landscaping/Maintenance:
- A motion was made by Alfred and seconded by Mel to make improvements at the park. The improvements are as follows: Two baby swings will be replaced at the Park along with a new green picnic table (secured with bolts) and two green metal benches that will be held in by concrete. The wood bench and the old beige picnic table will be sold on the website. The gazebo will be repainted the same color. Bids were requested for painting only. All agreed and the motion passed.
- Mel will send addresses to management of homes that need to paint their driveways a cement color.
- Motion was made by Alfred and seconded by Lynn to have PLM mow the grass at 842 Cherry Laurel. The home is in foreclosure, vacant and lawn is out of control.
Unfinished Business:
New Business:
- The 2014 Budget was approved with a change only in the Holiday Decoration line item and general reserve line item. Motion made by Mel and seconded by Alfred. All approved and the motion passed.
- A motion was made by Mel and seconded by Lynn to allow owners to pay their 2014 annual assessments up until March 31, 2014 without penalty. All agree. Motion passed.
- A motion was made by Lynn and seconded by Alfred to hire Cecelia Bonifay to represent QVLOA against Walgreens to ask them to pay for the irrigation expenses at the front entrance. All agreed and the motion passed.
- Management to ask Attorney Al Cook what can legally be done to keep sex offenders at bay in the Association.
- A motion was made by Alfred and seconded by Lynn for management to give a $50 restaurant gift card to Len DeLeo for taking care of the doggie stations.
Motion to adjourn by Alfred at 8:30 p.m.
Next meeting will be on Thursday, November 20th, 2013 at 7:30.
