Quorum was met.
Meeting was called to order by Dave Yeager, at time 7:15 p.m.
Board members in attendance were as follows: Dave Yeager, Alfred Rodriguez, Mel Ash, Steve McPherson and Lynn Anoai.
Community Manager Lisa Donohue from EPM was present.
The 2013 Annual Membership meeting was not held due to lack of quorum of the membership. Fifty-one proxies or owners were required and only 47 proxies and owners were represented. A regular board meeting was held instead.
The October 2013 minutes were approved with a motion from Mel and seconded by Steve. All agreed. Motion passed.
Treasurers Report by Lisa Donohue

- CNL Operating Account: $70,202.39
- Regions Money Market: $60,657.49
- CNL Reserve Account: $113,986.45
- Accounts Receivable: $80,629.21
Committee Reports were given as follows:
ARB Report:
- ARB requests were reviewed and signed by ARB committee.
Landscaping/Maintenance:
- PLM to be asked to increase irrigation at front entrance to “green up” the foliage due to recent lack of irrigation.
- PLM to be asked to fertilize and care for the rose bushes at the front to improve the looks of them.
- PLM to be asked to increase the annuals at the front so they can easily be seen from the road and to trim the entrance sign perennials on a regular basis.
- PLM requested again to submit bid for common area incline maintenance.
- PLM to be asked if the proposal submitted for the sod replacement in the retention ponds will still be valid in the Spring when work will be completed.
Unfinished Business:
- Management was asked to confirm that Christmas lights will go up as scheduled on November 29th.
- President Dave Yeager offered to purchase old picnic table at playground for $100 if no one makes a better offer.
New Business:
- Management was asked to compare current money market interest rates at financial institutions.
- Sarasky Painting was chosen to paint the picnic table pavilion at the park with a motion by Mel and seconded by Steve. All agreed and the motion passed.
- A motion was made by Steve and seconded by Lynn to request a quote on sand delivery to the playground area by Playnation and to approve quote playground repair from Playnation as submitted. All agreed and motion passed.
- A motion was made by Mel and seconded by Steve that all garage door colors must first be approved by the ARB committee. Colors on the garage doors will be accepted as long as it is only one color and it is approved by the committee prior to application.
- A motion was made by Mel and seconded by Lynn to continue to have Attorney Cecilia Bonifay represent the association. The goal is for the City of Minneola to turn over the mitigation area to Quail Valley and for the new developer to include a new road that will lead out to Hwy 27.
Motion to adjourn by Mel at 9:15 p.m.
Next meeting will be on Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 at 7:30.
