Meeting was called to order, at time 7:15 p.m..
Board members in attendance were as follows: Mike Ellis, Dave Yeager, Mel Ash and Steve McPherson.
The management company was represented by Lisa Donohue of EPM Services.
The August 2015 minutes were approved with a motion from Mel and seconded by Steve. All agreed. Motion passed.
Treasurers Report by Lisa Donohue

- CNL Operating Account: $96,032.87
- Centerstate Bank Money Market: $31,370.77
- CNL Reserve Account: $149,972.89
- Iberia Bank Reserves: $100,049.18
- Accounts Receivable: $37,671.38
Committee Reports
- ARB applications were submitted by Mel Ash.
Landscaping/Maintenance:
- Stephen volunteered to look at the retention ponds to see if any repairs are needed.
- PLM to replace knock out roses with another perennial and trim the loropetalums.
- PLM also to trim the entrance sign so the words on the sign can be easily seen.
- PLM to submit proposal for trimming palms in the park.
Old Business:
- A motion was made by Mel and seconded by Mike to spend $4,400 ($3,500 for lights and $900 for installation and break down) on Christmas lights this year. All lights are to be LED and no lights are to be installed on the ground.
- The garage sale is scheduled for October 24th. Management requested to ask City Hall to put announcement on their sign. Manager to also put announcement in News Leader and Orlando Sentinel.
New Business:
- The Board agreed that a fence does not have to totally obscure a boat or RV from view as in the case of 226 Magellan. The owner contested a violation letter she received for her boat which could be easily seen behind a chain link fence.
- The Board requested that community covenant reminders be included in the annual meeting notice. Mel was especially concerned about the lack of edging in the community and the correct bundling of yard debris.
Motion to adjourn by Mel at 8:30 p.m.
Next meeting will be held on Thursday, November 5th, 2015 at 7:15 at the Minneola City Hall.
