The meeting was called to order, at time 7:15 p.m..
Board members in attendance were as follows: Mike Ellis, Dave Yeager, and Alfred Rodriguez. Mel Ash was absent and Steve McPherson has resigned from the Board.
The management company was represented by Lisa Donohue of EPM Services.
A Quorum of the membership was met with 51 owners represented in person or by proxy.
The September 2015 minutes were approved with a motion from Alfred and seconded by Mike. All agreed. Motion passed.
Treasurers Report by Lisa Donohue
- As of September 30, 2015
- CNL Operating Account: $89,146.71
- Centerstate Bank Money Market: $31,370.77
- CNL Reserve Account: $151,435.82
- Iberia Bank Reserves: $100,077.96
- Accounts Receivable: $33,859.25
Committee Reports
Landscaping/Maintenance:
- Dave volunteered to look at the retention ponds to see if any repairs are needed.
Old Business:
- A motion was made by Alfred and seconded by Ray to extend the grace period for the 2016 assessment until March 31, 2016 without penalty. All agreed and the motion carried.
- A motion was made by Ray and seconded by Alfred to accept the complaint prepared by Attorney Cara Singletary for the Walgreens suit.
New Business:
- A motion was made by Alfred and seconded by Mike to accept the 2016 Budget. All agreed and the motion carried.
- A motion was made by Alfred and seconded by Mike to appoint Ray Niveral to the Board. All agreed and the motion carried.
- A motion was made by Alfred and seconded by Mike that the community covenant reminders would be put on the back of every violation letter. All agreed and the motion carried.
Motion to adjourn by Mike at 8:10 p.m.
Next meeting will be held on Thursday, January 28th, 2016 at 7:15 at the Minneola City Hall.
