Committee Reports
- Multiple ARB applications were submitted and approved by ARB committee.
Landscaping/Maintenance:
- The Board requested that any dead or injured Indian Hawthorne shrubs be replaced in the median.
- Property Doctor (Dave Grunderman) will be requested to bolt back together the seat to the misplaced picnic table and place it back in the pavilion at the park. He will then rebolt it back onto pavilion floor. He will also be asked to look at the missing shingles on the roof of the pavilion to see if he can replace them before asking a roofer.
Old Business:
- The Board agreed to wait until the next meeting for the Board to decide whether or not to proceed with the lawsuit against Walgreens.
New Business:
- Al Cook, PA will be requested by management to send a letter to the owners on Gentle Breeze whose resident was seen tearing the shingles off of the roof of the park pavilion.
- Two other violation letters were requested to be mailed – one on Whisper Sound for trash cans and one on Gentle Breeze for erosion.
- The non-emergency police will be called by management requesting additional patrols around the park area during after school hours.
- The terms “ARC” as opposed to “ARB” were discussed. ARC will remain the term used as the Architectural Review Committee not the Architectural Review Board. Management will look at the signage on the box at the front to see if it can be changed.
- Management will contact Minneola City Hall to see if they could do a traffic study at the entrance. The green light is too short for the amount of traffic going in and out of the community.
Motion to adjourn by Mike at 8:07 p.m.
Next meeting will be held on Thursday, March 24th, 2016 at 7:15 at the Minneola City Hall.
