The meeting was called to order, at time 7:15 p.m..
Board members in attendance were as follows: Dave Yeager, Mike Ellis, Mel Ash, Ray Nivarel and Alfred Rodriguez.
The management company was represented by Lisa Donohue of EPM Services.
The April 2016 minutes were approved with a motion from Mike and seconded by Mel. All agreed. Motion passed.
Treasurers Report by Lisa Donohue
- As of April 30, 2016
- CNL Operating Account: $146,707.98
- Centerstate Bank Money Market: $31,454.75
- CNL Reserve Account: $161,686.60
- Iberia Bank Reserves: $100,253.46
- Accounts Receivable: $39,628.93
Committees:
- A motion was made by Ray and seconded by Mel that ARB approval is necessary for tree removal in the front yard only — not the backyard. Three “yes” vote and two “no” votes. The motion carried.
- A motion was made by Mel and seconded by Ray that any structure built on the property, back or front, must go through City of Minneola and ARB approval. All agreed and the motion carried
- Mediation letters will be sent to 803 LaCosta, 213 Magellan and 943 Willow Run by Al Cook and carried through if no improvements are made by the owners.
- Ray made a motion and Mike seconded it that letters will be sent to owners who have barking dogs who disturb the peace of the neighborhood. All agreed and the motion carried.
Landscaping/Maintenance:
- Dave will find a company to clean out retention pond inlets and send the bid to the Board.
Old Business:
- Alfred made a motion to have Seminole Gate put up cameras in the park for $3500. Seminole Gate will include two surveillance signs and a short training on how to access information from the cameras. Ray seconded the motion. All agreed and the motion passed.
- Management will send two more new sign/post bids to the Board for review.
New Business:
Motion to adjourn by Ray at 8:39 p.m.
Next meeting will be held on Thursday, June 23rd, 2016 at 7:15 at the Minneola City Hall.
