A regular meeting of the Quail Valley Lot Owners Association, Inc. Board of Directors was held at the Minneola City Hall on August 22, 2019, at 7:15 p.m.
Board Members present were Ray Nivarel (President), Laura Smith-Jones (Vice President), and Daphne Tunmore (Director). Ikema Campbell represented HomeRiver Group.
President Ray Nivarel called a Board of Directors meeting to order at 7:16 p.m.
Proof of Notice was established and 3/3 quorum.
Previous Meeting Minutes
- Mrs. Smith made a motion to approve the Minutes from the July 27, 2019 meeting as presented; seconded by Ms. Tunmore. Motion carried unanimously.
Financial Report
- Ms. Campbell presented the July 2019 Financials. Mrs. Smith made a motion to approve July 2019 financials as presented; seconded by Ms. Tunmore. Motion carried unanimously.
Manager's Report
- Violations report presented to the board by Ms. Campbell. The August compliance inspection completed on August 22 and 23, 2019.
ARB Report
- ACC report presented to the board by Ms. Campbell.
Unfinished Business
- Holiday Lights Updated proposal including colored lights from Jay Peterson included in packet. Option 2 with Green and Red lights $2,675 and Option 3 with Green and Red lights $3,531. Board discussed options and will post poll on Facebook page.
New Business
- Yard of the month 148 Carlyle Street.
- Security Report Mr. Nivarel advised 2 reported incidents since last meeting. 1 for assault and 1 for vandalism.
- September Garage Sale Board set date for September 28, 2019 from 8 a.m. unil 2 p.m. Mrs. Smith Motion to pull permit and post Garage sale information in Sentinel, cost not to exceed $40 for post and $25 for permit; seconded by Ms. Tunmore. Motion carried unanimously.
Member Forum
- Board advised Quail replaced to entrance sign.
- Homeowner advised lillies in common area dying and weeding needed.
- Board advised Sherwin Williams website not yet updated but request has been submitted and onsite book updated.
- Board discussed additonal entrance now open.
- Reminder of community social second Saturday each month.
- Board request itemized landscaping bill for tree trimming prior to payment.
Adjournment
Mrs. Smith made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:57 p.m.; seconded by Ms. Tunmore. Motion carried unanimously.
The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 26, 2019, at 7:15 p.m.
