A regular meeting of the Quail Valley Lot Owners Association, Inc. Board of Directors was held at the Premier Association Management on February 27, 2020, at 7:15 p.m.
Board Members present were Ray Nivarel (President), Ron Caron (Director), Laura Smith (Vice President) and Robert Tindell (Secretary/Treasurer). Quorum was established. Marie Aguirre represented Management.
Meeting called to order at 7:35 p.m.
Previous Meeting Minutes: January 23, 2020
- Robert Tindell motions, Laura Smith seconded and all approve.
Financial Report
- Report was presented by Manager, Marie Aguirre.
Manager's Report
- Manager advises that work orders are open for Sam but he is not available for another couple of weeks. Open work orders are:
- Hasp for info sign
- Trimming bush overhanging sidewalk
- Repairing the fence at the front entrance
- Tightening the sail at playground
- Replace bolt on drums at playground.
Electrical work orders for electrician are pending for the lights at the park pavilion.
ARB Report
- Ray reports that Sherwin Williams has updated the colors online.
Unfinished Business
- Playground Pavilion Lights Estimate — Board approves current estimate of $650 pending any lower estimates. Laura Smith motions, Robert Tindell seconded and all approve.
- Sherwin Williams Website (Color Schemes) — Ray got it done at the tradeshow. Met with Sherwin Williams's rep.
- Information Sign — being completed soon.
- Fence Update (Connection to Billboard Overhead) — being completed soon.
- Sail at the Playground — being completed soon.
- Pressure Wash Estimate — tabled for another estimate.
- Landscaping Bids — have 2 bids so far. Board has concerns with both. Doggie Bags collections, not knowing the community common areas, not being local.
New Business
- Yard of the month is 645 La Costa — please send gift card and letter.
Marie advised Board that Walmart gift cards can only be purchased with cash. We have gift cards through March, but after that they will need to be purchased with cash. Ray advised Board could use petty cash and get petty cash reimbursement.
- No security report this month.
- Garage Sale is set for March 21st — Management will get permit, put an ad in the Sentinel and local paper and send an e-blast to the community.
Member Forum
- Reports about loose dogs, and non-pickup of doggie poop bags in common areas.
