A regular meeting of the Quail Valley Lot Owners Association, Inc. Board of Directors was held at Minneola City Hall, 800 North US Hwy 27, Minneola, Florida 34715, on December 16, 2020, at 7:15 p.m.
Board Members present were Ray Nivarel (President), Laura Smith (Vice President), Robert Tindell (Secretary/Treasurer) and Ron Caron (Director). Quorum was established. 4 out of 4 present. Anita Roberts and Alisha Ravidatt represented Management.
Meeting was noticed on Facebook and Info Board.
Meeting called to order: 7:15 p.m. by Ray Nivarel.
Previous Meeting Minutes:
- Laura Smith motioned to accept minutes, Ron Caron seconded to approve minutes for November 19, 2020. Motion passed.
Financial Report
- Management reviewed income and expense report along with balance sheet. AR report and updated collections sheet as well attorney collection report was reviewed..
Manager's Report
- Manager sent a written report.
Unfinished Business
- Response to Tom McGee — QVLOA is done with him with everything. Board doesn't want to deal with him any longer. Ron motions, Robert seconds and all are in favor of no further communication with Tom McGee.
- Survey of Front Entrance — Board would like copy of survery to be sent to them. Please ask Marie to send it to us.
- Please give message to Traveling Trees to no longer do work on the south side of the entrance.
- Board needs a draft of the annual meeting notice — would like to know how voting occurs, need to be clear on these subjects.
New Business
- Board would like manager to check with attorney about hosting the meeting on Facebook live. Do they need to have closed captions on?
- Annual meeting will be held at the Minneola City Hall, after that all meetings can be at the Premier office on Hwy. 50.
- The annual meeting will be Thursday, January 28th, 2021 at City Hall at 7:15 p.m.
- Laura has a complaint about an in-home business and they are a renter. Laura will send screen shots via email to management.
- Coupons — are delayed due to a COVID outbreak at printing center.
- Ricardo — ARC member — has not been active in months, will be replaced by Robert. Laura motioned to replace Ricardo, Ron 2nd and all in favor. Motion passed to remove Ricardo and replace with Robert.
