Food for Thought: Watch what you flush!!!! Please exercise great caution in what you flush into our sewer system. We have recently experienced multiple abnormal blockages in our system. These extra cleanings have cost us over $6000 during the month of November, and the more this happens, the possibility of this affecting future fees could occur. Be a responsible pet owner. When you walk your dog throughout the community, please remember to pick up after them. It is not the responsibility of your neighbors to pick up after your pet. As per Lake County Animal Control, all dogs MUST be leashed. We have had multiple reports and problems with two pit bull dogs, which have been seen roaming around Valley Edge Drive unleashed, and they have chased after residents and children. This has been brought to the attention of the QVLOA Board of Directors at the November 13th meeting, and the Board is actively working with residents in this vicinity to remedy this current situation. However, if you see any dog wandering around the community unleashed, please contact Lake County Animal Control immediately at: 352-343-9688. Obey the speed limit throughout the community, especially by the playground. Quail Valley is a community filled with young children, and their safety, as well as the safety of all of our residents is a priority. School is in session Watch out for school buses, and please don't let children jump on the large green utility box on the corner of Southern Breeze and Gentle Breeze Drive. If this utility box gets damaged, the Quail Valley Lot Owner’s Association (this means you and I!!) will have to pay for its repair, and to keep our fees down, please keep an eye out on the children. Keep garage doors closed. For your safety, as well as your neighbors, the Lake County Sheriff's Department recommends that you keep your garage doors closed, especially at night. Help keep Quail Valley beautiful. Keep trash cans in the backyard/garage, and place trash for pickup on street at proper times¾Trash pickup in Quail Valley is scheduled every Monday and Thursday. Recyclables are picked up on Thursday. Any questions, contact Waste Management at 352-787-4416. | ||
