As of May 2017, the City of Minneola contracts with WCA for trash pickup, and the schedule of pickup days has changed from what was in effect for the previous ten years.

- Regular Pickup:
- Household Waste — Every Tuesday and Friday
- Recycled Materials — Wednesday
- Yard Waste — Tuesday
- Holiday Schedule:
- No pickups of any kind on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
When one of these holidays falls on a pickup day, the next pickup will be on the scheduled day. For example, if New Years Day falls on a Tuesday, the day for regular household waste pickup, there will be no pickup that day, and homeowners will have to wait until Friday, the next scheduled day for this kind of pickup.
