The Association |

Quail Valley is a diverse, family-oriented, deed-restricted community of single-family homes conveniently located near the heart of South Lake County. Residents of Quail Valley enjoy a refreshing mixture of comfortable living, lake access, and a closeness to the beauty of nature, the development being surrounded by several protected conservation areas. The homeowners of Quail Valley together form the Quail Valley Lot Owners Association. In May 2006, control of the Association was transferred from the developer to the homeowners, and management is now under the direct control of the Association homeowners through its Board of Directors. The Association's chief purpose is "to promote the health, safety and welfare of ... the owners and residents of ... Quail Valley" (see Articles of Incorporation), and it carries out this mandate by maintaining the quality of life and property values of the members. To this end, the Association's Board of Directors meets monthly, on the fourth Thursday, at Minneola City Hall. All Board meetings are open, and homeowners are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please see the Board meetings page for guidelines on participation at these meetings. The agenda of upcoming meetings, and minutes of previous meetings, are posted regularly on this web site; click here for the list. To this end also, the Board has set about to clarify and specify the property usage restrictions contained in the Declaration of Covenents, Conditions and Restrictions document (DCCR) with which all homeowners should be familiar. Homeowners in need of a copy of the DCCR document should contact the Board president (see the Board of Directors page). Further rules and regulations will be posted on this web site as they are formulated and adopted by the Board of Directors. Please see the recent letter from the Board of Directors concerning upcoming discussions about rule clarifications. Other activities of the Association:
